This has become a numbers game. The planners have the unenviable task of having to find sites for thousands of new homes and business's. Countering this, we have local communities justifiably nervous about the siting of developments. It is a hard numbers versus emotive response game – the two are difficult to balance against each other. The law is on the side of the guys who count the numbers. Feedback to Aberdeenshire Council The Proposed Local Development Plan has been released to gather opinion regarding the developments. We are encouraged to fill out response forms to let the council know our feelings. The response forms are the only method of letting them know your opinions and the deadline for feedback is 5pm October 1st 2010.
